First United is very pleased to announce their 4th annual golf tournament, May 30, and offer a warm welcome to title sponsor Silver | Wheaton.
The Silver | Wheaton Golf for the Homeless Community tournament is a fundraising event benefitting the work & programs of First United. Golfers of all abilities, from novice to pro, are invited to join us at University Golf Club for a very fun & rewarding day of golfing with friends plus an evening barbeque dinner with silent auction and emcee CBC’s Rick Cluff. The day starts at 1:00pm with a Shotgun start with teams of 4 playing a Texas Scramble.
Registration / donation fee is $200 per person and includes:
- green fees & bucket of practice balls
- pull cart
- light lunch
- barbeque dinner
- silent auction
- tax receipt for $60
Golf with the Mayor or Chief of Staff
For an additional $300 donation, you will be entered in a draw to join the foursome of either Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson or Chief of Staff Mike McGee.
- x2 spots with the Mayor and x2 spots with the Chief of Staff are available.
- A tax receipt will be issued for $300 plus $60 for the initial registration fee.
- It won’t be a problem if you win the opportunity to play with the Mayor or Chief of Staff and you are already on a foursome, we will find a replacement to take your original place on your original foursome.
