Carving Group

A small group of carvers gathers regularly in the Art Room to talk and to create beautiful pieces of First Nations art.  Their work will be for sale through our Social Enterprises portal.

City Soul Choir

A new opportunity for those in the Downtown Eastside and Strathcona communities to come together to sing pop, gospel, folk and world music. Practicing every Thursday morning, City Soul Choir is conducted by Vancouver musician and Strathcona resident Brian Tate. Brian is the former conductor of Universal Gospel Choir. He is currently the conductor of the 120 voice Island Soul Choir in Parksville and is music director at Mt. Seymour United Church. Brian is an accomplished composer and has led music workshops in Canada and the United States.
