The backbone of First United’s funding comes from donations made by individuals, congregations, foundations, corporations, and the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada. We also receive funding from BC Housing to support our 60-bed emergency shelter.

Each and every ministry of First United, from the advocates, to community workers, to office and janitorial staff, to pastoral care, to the meal and storage programs, to reception services, hospitality and more… are supported entirely by individuals and groups who give dollars and give time.
