ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISING DRIVE

We are so deeply appreciative of our friends in the faith community. Email Natalie to learn more about how we can support you in hosting special events, donation drives, and other creative, fun fundraising efforts.

COLLECT SUPPLIES

First United is always in need of basic health and hygiene supplies and lightly used clothing. Click here to download a list of our urgent needs. Get together with your church and start collecting!

Sandwich Making

Looking for a fun activity your group can do together, while giving back? First United relies on donated sandwiches for evening community snacks, packed lunches for working shelter residents and to augment other program needs.

PRAYER CHAIN

Offer the healing power of prayer to community members in need. Sign up to receive our regular prayer chain emails. Recipients receive a blind copy email that includes only someone’s first name and their prayer need. You can then incorporate those requests into your own practice, or share them with your group or congregation.

Email Reverend Jim to be added to the Prayer Chain

Sponsor a Meal

Sponsoring a meal is a great way for church groups to connect with the Downtown Eastside community. Churches fundraise for the food costs, while our skilled chefs prepare the meal. If you like, your group can come to serve the meal and meet the community members supported by your gift.
