How can I change my mailing address?

To change your mailing address, mailing preferences or any account information, please call  our Donor Relations Coordinator at 604-336-3047 or donations@firstunited.ca. Please note that any changes to mailing may take up to 8 weeks to come into effect, due to the advance scheduling of some of our mailings.

What happens when I make an online donation?

When you make an online donation, you should receive an email confirmation message. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call our Donor Relations Coordinator at 604-336-3047 or donations@firstunited.ca. Be sure to check your junk mail for the email confirmation as well.

Where does my money go?

We are committed to responsibly stewarding your gift. Please view our Annual Report to learn more about your community impact. If you would like to direct your donation to a specific program area, please let us know.

When do I get my receipt for a one time donation?

You will receive a tax receipt within four weeks of your donation by mail or email depending on what option you selected. If you do not receive your tax receipt please call our Donor Relations Coordinator at 604-336-3047 or donations@firstunited.ca.

When do I get my receipt for my monthly donations?

Consolidated receipts for all the gifts you have made in a year will be issued once per year, in mid- February. If you would like to receive a receipt per gift or immediately after donating, please call our Donor Relations Coordinator at 604-336-3047 or donations@firstunited.ca.
