We’re in need of volunteers for two upcoming shifts on March 24 and 25, and we would love for you to join us!

DESCRIPTION
Every spring our sister organization, First United Church Social Housing Society, helps tenants get rid of unwanted items in their units. Volunteers will help tenants by bringing the unwanted items down to the garbage bin. Volunteers must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg.

The simple act of spring cleaning is powerful for tenants and lets them truly enjoy their homes, something we can all relate to.

TIME
Day 1
Thursday, March 24
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Ledingham Place, 2425 Brunswick St

Day 2
Friday, March 25
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Locations: Bill Hennessy Place, 370 E Hastings St; & Jennie Pentland Place, 540 E Hastings St

You’re welcome to sign up for one shift or both, whichever you prefer.

PPE will be given to all volunteers, as well as a 30-minute lunch break with food provided.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Volunteers must provide proof of vaccination status upon arrival.
