Our programs, services, and how we build relationships are guided by dignity, belonging and justice. We work to meet people’s most pressing needs and engage in advocacy to change the circumstances that lead people into poverty and homelessness.
Dignity
Dignity is when people's basic needs are aligned with human rights and when people have access to shelter, water, sanitation, and clothing. We believe that everyone has equal value and deserves to be treated with dignity.
Belonging is about alleviating social isolation, building spaces where people can gather and heal, and have space for ceremony and worship regardless of what they believe. We create and facilitate spaces where all are welcome and can feel a sense of belonging.
To achieve justice, we work to break cycles of oppression, uphold rights, change systems, break stigma, change legislation and influence policies for a more equitable society.
